Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, who shared our vision of what we can achieve together, we have reached our goal of creating a million dollar scholarship endowment fund to ensure the availability of PhillySEEDS scholarships for our worthy PHA recipients for years to come! Education is the transformative step in paths to financial, emotional, and social prosperity; and these opportunities for our deserving scholars change lives, motivate many, and lift our communities. The creation of this fund is a true game changer, providing security for the continuation of the educational opportunities offered by the scholarships.

Further, out of respect and concern for the safety of our community, including residents, awardees, and sponsors, the planned in-person scholarship endowment gala on September 23, 2021 will be transitioned to a virtual celebration of our scholars and the PhillySEEDS Nellie Reynolds Scholarship Endowment Fund (also highlighting the many accomplishments of PHA Commissioner and Resident Leader Nellie Reynolds). As of September 20, a link for this virtual celebration will be available on the PhillySEEDS website www.PhillySEEDS.org. We are immensely grateful to our sponsors, for the 2021 event and the fund, and all of their contributions have gone directly to the establishment of the scholarship endowment fund.
