Our 10th year anniversary celebration on July 13, 2023 at the Cescaphe location of Vie was a record-breaker, with more attendees (including PHA Commissioners) than ever before, more sponsors than ever before, and more money raised than ever before – plus, perhaps, more fun!
The high fundraising goal of $100,000 was exceeded, for use in supporting the PHA community through the 3 core programs (and others) of PhillySEEDS, which include: 1) scholarships, 2) matching security deposit grants, and 3) matching 1st time homeowner closing cost assistance grants.
Surprise awards were also given to Sam Staten, Jr. and to Commissioner and Resident Advisory Board leader Asia Coney, as well as the scholarship awards being distributed. A night to remember and a perfect way to inspire more work for PhillySEEDS and appreciate all that has been done!
